Even backwards tooltips is a fairly rare thing. I am fairly convinced in this case the problem was the front splitter or front suspension was bottoming out so softening the front bar just made it drag more. I remember at some point making the only C6.R setup that didn't just immediately slam the car onto the bump stops the instant you pressed the brakes so I could actually fucking drive the thing instead of it snapping between understeer and oversteer as the front suspension rate changed by magnitudes.

Things to note about the Ultimate GT3 mod

>Everything is copy and paste expect the weight distribution, engine, and a few other things, loading a setup between cars works flawlessly
>The lower powered cars are completely uncompetitive, don't bother wasting your time with them, anything with sub 380kw

It's been fucking awesome and worth every cent they charge for two years now. You're just slow.
It is the most detailed vehicular simulation you can buy, after all. I don't see shit like iRacing modelling the thermal properties of spilled fuel nor does rFactor model the effects of oil starvation on an upside-down engine or coolant loss or ANYTHING other than making your car vape after it hits a certain temperature.

And of course, there is no simulator anywhere that has collision physics as good as BNG except maybe mainframe-based engineering simulations that, for obvious reasons, don't model things like monster trucks, cannons, or 300mph car shredders.

the newest update improved the AI quite a bit as well, so now the race scenarios with multiple cars aren't quite as derpy.

At least this mod is a compilation of shit we have already raced plus the SuperGT cars. It appears to have some attempt at balance, very forgiving tires with lots of grip, a wide variety of models, and physics that veterans will be used to.

Even the EEC GT-R handles the same as it did in OVGT3 S2, just now it has tires that haven't been fucked with by Gnik Rats so it can actually turn.

No, OVGT1 was more like NFS physics, where the tires kind of felt like rubber bands when you slid sideways and there was so much available steering lock you could correct any skid.

The UGT3 mod uses Blancpain Endurance Series tires so everything basically drives exactly like OVGT3 season 1 cars. They are responsive and fun to drive, but not overly unrealistic.
