I put my truck in a ditch, specifically in pic related's way. I tried to get out for around 10 min, then gave up and got a friend to get me out with his winch. Oh this is northern Ontario, so it was full of snow
Anyway, I was at a very steep angle (thought it was going to tip over, but I'm sure I am exaggerating a bit, still, it was steep as fuck) anyway, I checked everything on the right side, since that's where all the weight was sitting and everything looks fine, but I'm still worried that I might've fucked up something. The 4hi/lo seems fine, the truck is driving fine, but is there something I should be in the lookout for? what are the things that can fuck up a truck when it sits/drives like this for a while?
thanks
if it still drives straight-ish then it's fine
if the thing starts veering off to the left or right so that it might hit an oncoming car then you might want to get the wheels re-aligned

the wheels have been due for a realignment for a while now, I'll take care of that next week
Can the suspension/ball joints get fucked up that way?
>>16369316
The joints would probably get the same amount of force through them while cornering and/or fully loaded. I highly doubt the truck's own weight would damage anything.

This, unless the truck slammed into something solid like a curb or a rock then there shouldn't have been a big impact on the suspension. Snow is soft yo

ps: won't let me delete the fucking thread now ffs

Threads you make could help out another br/o/, no need to delete it once you have an answer

where u at?
anyone in sudbury?
>>16369248
Not really. Tougher, stiffer suspension should do fine
You didnt winch out by the wheel or axle I hope?

>You didnt winch out by the wheel or axle I hope?
hell no. There are toe hooks in the front of my truck
