Need help guys,
Saw a video a few weeks ago about a car's headlight that had a hologram feature so when it is night time it would detect someone trying to cross the road and display a virtual zebra crossin (like in the picture)

Cant find the video or any reference to the technology, was most likely BMW, AUDI or MERCEDES.

Wait so your car makes a crosswalk? How does that go legally when you run them down? When someone going the other way runs them down because they'd be jaywalking except for the crosswalk you're car made?

Basically yeah but its for roads that don't have a crosswalk in a walkable distance. it appears when you break and it senses the person kind of like the parking assistance that beeps.
The closest ive come to find a laser/hologram used for safety is https://www.theguardian.com/environment/bike-blog/2015/sep/16/london-santander-hire-bikes-high-tech-laser-lights-amid-arms-race-to-be-seen-blaze
New commercial from Mercedez about their digital LED lights.

As always, I forget the actual video.

is this a car ad of a nature documentary trailer?

this just seems like a gimmick. They haven't given one example of a thing that hasn't been done or would actually be useful. Ohh holographic zebra crossings, why not just flash your headlights. Or better yet, drive past, there was no one behind him and the pedestrian had stopped.
Projecting road markings? Why not just use a heads up on the dash?

or a heads up on the windshield? You know like BM...ahhhh
