Where I live roughly 90% of the cars on the road are diesels, the other 9.9% are 1.0l petrols. The government and insurance companies make owning any sort of ''performance'' vehicle essentially illegal as they are expensive as shit to maintain. Tax on displacement, insurance fucking expensive, petrol expensive, mandatory vehicle inspection every year it's sad, man.
