I found this inside the stock intake tube in my dad's truck. I wondered to myself,"hmm wtf is that? That can't be a good place for this to be". So I pulled it out and meow my dad's truck sounds like a 747 when I get on it. Do all vehicles have pic related? I would like my car to sound like a jet fighter too. Any way I figured that I can pull this piece out of am imtake tube maybe I can be a mechanical engineer or something.
Heres a side by side visual of this peice next to a staples Duramark marker...
This thing is a little too bulky to belong inside an intake tube
good job op, now your dad's truck is gonna produce mustard gas. hope you're prepared.
I hope you didn't drive your dad's truck for long with that removed. If you did, his engine is going to be full of gunk and probably won't last much longer. It's in there for a reason dude, put it back.
Idiot.

Touching something on a car doesn't make you an ME.
Spending $100k on college and six years of your life makes you an ME.
Not all cars have intake silencers, no. Nothing bad will come from you having removed it.
It was installed from the factory to comply with NVH standards.

It's not an air cleaner, pal. It's an intake silencer.

All this.
OP is clearly 16 and has no business popping the hood on any vehicle, let alone his dad's truck.

>Fucking with the engine of a vehicle that is not yours
kill yourself before you get someone else killed
>i dont know what this is but i better remove it
>maybe i can be a mechanical engineer
was it autism that caused this post?
