How rekt do you think the cylinder will be? What tools will I need to fix it?
Pull the head and dig out all the ceramic
a lot of it is probably embedded in the head and piston at this point but whatever didn't get embedded is probably rattling around in there

also if it's a euro car be prepared to buy special tools
american or japanese just a set of sockets lol

>ceramic embedding into metal where it has nothing to smash against
At worst it's gonna shatter into powder and out the exhaust valve.
Also, OP
Get air compressor, blow air into spark plug hole until shit blows out
>>16286174
>nothing to smash against
you sure about that?

2009 Chrysler Town & Country LX

fuck no
>>16286174
>Get air compressor, blow air into spark plug hole until shit blows out
also fuck no
unless you have satan's air compressor, the compression ratio did a better job of blowing out whatever shit fell off your spark plug then your little air gun ever could.
If that happened while the engine was running, the bits went out the exhaust valve long ago

What is supposed to be missing there? I drive a diesel missile
>>16286521
The ceramic is completely busted off of the center electrode.

Shitty ford design strikes again. They'd rather pay shills to shit boards up than pay engineers.
>>16288611
I guess diesels are better after all
>>16286028
long stroke and short stroke are relative terms.
You should be distinguishing between oversquare and undersquare engines
>>16286123
put a new plug in, start the car, let the exhaust do the rest

It's the 3.3l V6 in my 2009 Chrysler Town and Country, so whatever that is.

That's what I'm doing. Ran it two miles down the street to a local shop and back, seems to be running pretty well. I'll be driving 45 minutes out and 45 minutes back tonight, I'm bringing extra plugs just in case it breaks again.
