Nope, automatic, but it has a manual 3 speed for pulling trailers. I keep it in drive since I've never once pulled a trailer.

It sounds like the car is trying to shift into OD (final gear) but for whatever reason it's not making the connection and it's just jittering there, on the threshold of 3rd.

Sounds accurate actually. It always feels like its trying to shift but it won't, at some point it does though if I force it a tiny bit.
