In my experience, no.
A very small percentage are very interested.
A very small percentage have absolutely no clue about anything, and can't tell a Yugo from a Koenigsegg.
A quite large percentage have no particular interest but can still tell a nice and/or well-kept car from a shitheap.
A subset hereof will be interested in how that car affects your and/or their social status, but this has nothing to do with the car in particular. Their behaviour will be similarly affected by other items of conspicuous consumption.

While girls may find your car interesting as an extension of your personality - which, hopefully, they are interested in - a nice car alone won't cut it, unless we're talking about somebody who are purely after material wealth and/or status.
As an added bonus, some girls of a more independent nature - which I prefer, because fuck being a babysitter for a grown person - will not appreciate being a passenger in a flash car, because it'll make them look shallow and dependent. You know, like a golddigger.
