They don't seem to hold up too well. Had a 1st gen 300c (largely the same vehicle under the body panels) it began to show numerous issues after the 4-5 year mark, even with all maintenance performed on schedule.

There's a reason most first gen LX platform vehicles are so cheap on the used market.

However if you can find one that's been well cared for, it probably wouldn't be the worst thing you could possibly buy in terms of reliability.
