Does any one make a MPG meter for a car that does not have an OBD2 sensor?

>auto
>good MPG
not possible unless it's a car from this decade, even high end cars from the 90s had shitty 3 speed automatic gearboxes

Unless your ECU actually calculates MPG I don't think it is possible without extreme nigger rigging
>>
I have the same car and I average about 22-25 mpg

Best you'll get with it. What is a meter gonna do for you? Its not gonna give you any more MPGs.

I was thinking more along the lines of adjusting my driving habits to get a little better mpg.
>>
Well I did some digging and found the MPGuino. It will give me a live read out of my mpg after some calibrating.

Well, just don't step on it, prefer highway driving(but go under the speed limit, do 50 or 60) over city driving because it is more fuel efficient
That's as good as it will ever get

Reminder that my europoor diesel shitbox does 80pmg

get a vacuum guage and maintain a constant vacuum value when you're cruising.

I can get about 26-27.

>lighten load, empty your trunk and what ever junk is in rear seat
>no ac in city, ac on high or freeway
>no heater, just wear another hoodie or two
>easy on pedal, look ahead of traffic and stop adding gas when approaching red light, try and time it so you're rolling up to a light that about to go green, and try not to floor it
>NO PASSENGERS, or keep it to a minimal.

Yeah but I'm lazy so I want a read out to show me. I enjoy getting it down to exact numbers. Hopefully this MPGunino will be a good fit as I have not found any other OBD1 mpg readers so far.
>>
>>16264671

like i said, for a car like that a vacuum guage is the best way.
