>a dozen 5-star reviews
>one or two 1-star reviews where the mechanic somehow manages to crack the engine block during an oil change or destroy the transmission while topping off their wiper fluid

Because the 1 star reviewers are retards who don't know how to take care of their car.

They say that the mechanic fucked up their tranny while topping off washer fluid but in reality they'd be doing neutral drops or driving hard and braking hard from stop light to stop light and overall abusing their car.
You know exactly the type of person I'm talking about.

I consider those reviews outliers, unless the one star has a legitimate reason for rating it that.
