How do wagons usually handle compared to their sedan counterparts?
Thinking of buying a '90-93 volvo 240 wagon or an '84-88 cressida wagon and not sure if wagons are right for me.
Didnt see an SQT or QTDDTOT
Most of the time pretty similarly, the weight will be different in the back (lighter or heavier depending on the car).
For the 240s in particular I know they're basically the same thing except the wagon has stiffer suspension from the factory in the back for carrying shit.

You entered the win wrong. Does it contain zeros?

I have a 240 wagon and sedan. Both handle pretty much the same. You can kinda feel the extra weight in the wagon it's not like they were ever built to handle that well anyways. Body roll is pretty fuckin bad in both.
If you wanna upgrade the suspension you can upgrade the bushings, anti sway bars, springs and add upper and lower strut bars for fairly cheap.
What's the best textbook to learn how cars work and how to wrench them?
I have a '85 Corolla if that matters.

Nice wagon choice might be just a little heavier on the rear because of added glass

Not by much. On my gen Legacy the wagon is only 30 pounds heavier than the sedan version. Probably a little more on a bigger car like that Toyota though.

The difference between sedan and wagons will be insignificant. You may experience slightly more or less force on the rear which will effect rear wheel traction slightly. Consider upgrading the suspension if control is an issue as these are old cars and the suspension is probably very worn and not terribly good to begin with.
