I live in Texas and get a surprising amount of compliments on mine, that being said I have had one guy doing the whole "it's a girls car" routine but he drives a faded yellow V6 Mustang with a torn up soft top and chunks missing out of the body so yeah that's the kind of worthless trash who would give you shit ever

I've been driving an NA Miata in South Alabama (Montgomery to Pensacola / Mobile) since 2008. It hasn't been that bad desu. One time some rednecks pulled up next to me, stopped, and started yelling "faggot" out the window, then they pulled a U-turn and drove off. I thought it was funny because I had already fucked my girlfriend that day. I've been coal-rolled twice, and once a lifted truck on the highway kept swerving so I couldn't pass.

But for 8 years of driving it, (top-down from March to November) that isn't too bad.

It probably helps that mine is black (pic related) and that I'm not a nervous anxious weeb.
