I'm thinking about getting a Buick Century, am I making a mistake? What are the pros and cons?
>Buick
Must be 55+ years old to purchase
Other than that, solid choice
There are no pro's, FWD, unibody, underpowered v6, not even comfy

I bought a 98 with 56k last year for $500..had a rusted out brake line..since then the only work ive done is front brakes and oil/trans/coolant changes. 70k now and i would drive it across the country. Rides nice and smooth. Quiet as fuck. Sure its not a fucking race car but as an a to b work car its perfect for me.

this
get a ford panther car instead for the real land barge experience
still an underpowered boat but at least it's body on frame and has the v8 growl when you mash the pedal on your way to bingo night at the church
If you live in an area that salts the roads be mindful of rust. My family has had 2 centurys and 2 regals 2000-2006. All have rusted right out. Worse one was the newer one. 2006 century was taken off the road in 2011 with little to nothing of the under side left. It had 70,000 klm.

Yeah, you're making a mistake alright, you should be trying to get a Regal GS if you want a non-shit W Body

Forgot to add the pros
Moderately comfortable. The v6 may be a tad underpowered but very smooth and has no problem with highway speeds. I could drive it conservatively and achieve around 8-10L/100klm
