The people who design concept cars voluntarily identify as "artists" which is basically the same thing as being retarded. The real version of the car always comes out looking incredibly tame in comparison because the engineers have to compensate for the artist's stupidity and correct all the ways the concept would literally never work on a production scale

Believe it or not, many engineers have good aesthetic sense also. If they designed something PURELY for functionality it'd probably be ugly, but they're not incapable of making it look nice or adding flourishes. And they can draw fucking good too, because they usually have to learn drafting or whip up a preview picture of what the thing they're designing is gonna look like in the end.

Its not meant to take literally as for final product there are rules and regulations not only from the outside but from the inside of manufacturer.
These rules as subject to change on annually basis and so is the design. Inventors, engineers, designers are people who set the rules that sheeps like you have to follow.
