Will paying off an auto loan early effect my credit negatively? I have enough saved to pay off the remaining year of my three year loan, I know it's not good for credit, but is it bad?

what kind of loan was it? i had a bank loan for a car when i was around 20, they said if i paid it off early it doesnt affect my credit at all. that loan actually built my credit, didnt need a co-sign and now that im 25 when i went back to the bank they said my credits near perfect and i could get a mortgage with no co-sign

All it'll do is make your credit history shorter than it would be otherwise. Doesn't actually hurt anything, just means your history won't be as long, which means your score won't be as high.
I paid off all my student loans a couple years after I dropped out of college. Still have a 750 credit score.
No. I sometimes pay cash, others I finance for a while if the interest rate is low enough. I almost never take them to full term.

I'm 28 with 15k in student loan debt remaining and a 590 credit score.
It gets reallh hard living at home with mom, with no degree, because I can't afford to go back to school right now, because I can't get any more loans, because my credit is bad.....
