Looking to buy a Mazda 323, any suggestion on the model. Problably a 2000-2003 model with the 1.5 engine cause in this country is the highest that can be easily insured.

Learn to use question marks.
Get a 1.5 VTEC Civic and turbo it.
If done correctly, it will make around 200hp and still be a relatively reliable DD

I already have that specific model and I am selling it cause Hondas in Ireland have been destroyed by boy racers or rust. My one is rusty eventhough the engine is like new with 140000 miles
Just looking into an easy to work car, good reliability and not prone to rust
Different guy here, but I'm a poorfag that doesn't know much about cars.
I'm thinking of offering $2500 for this.
Thoughts?

Get a manual one, for the love of god.
If you're gonna get an econobox, get a manual one.
Also look out for rough sections of paint and/or rust, Mazdas are prone to rust.

Is there a reliability concern with Mazda's automatics, or are you recommending a manual because they're more fun to drive?

The latter.
