Why does the United States have such cucked automotive lighting regulations?

>ugly ass amber reflectors and side markers that in reality don't increase lateral visibility
>rear turn signal can be red, blending in perfectly with the brake lights and making it impossible to see
>brake light, rear turn signal, and taillight can be one bulb, meaning that if it goes out, you lose all three
>turn signal repeaters on the fenders or mirrors are not required
>cannot turn on high beams and fog lights at same time, even though the same cars in the rest of the world can
>>
You can absolutely turn on your fogs and highs at the same if you want to but you'd have to be an absolute retard in order to do so.
High beams don't do you a lick of good in the fog, that's what fog lights are for.
>>
You made all of that up lol
>regulations are the same in every single state
Wrong again fagtron
>>

untrue
you do get a lot of glare back at you with high beam, but it does actually light the road further if you can see past it

Who are you replying to? How the did I make it up? And I have no idea what you mean by the greentext.

Pretty sure this many lumens would be illegal in most of Europe. Go on with your "dip beams" or whatever the fuck you call them.
