There's one of two things going on here. He's trying to be your friend and cars might be the only thing he is interested in that you are interested in or he's trying to get you to help him work on his car for free. It's usually a mixture of both. Working in retail sucks ass. Just be his friend and tell him he needs to chill. Then invite him out to have a few beers or whatever.
