Hey /o/ I've got an emergency. My rear calipers have this metal end cap sort of thing on the main pin slider like pic related, on the left there. It has a small hole in it and a dust boot that fits in it.
Both my metal end caps for my rear calipers are fucked and I need new ones, but I can't for the life of my figure out what they're called (to find the part individually) or find them on rockauto under any car that shares the same rear calipers. They'd be from late 80's toyotas, mr2, celica, corolla, etc.

Bruh I don't even think that is an individual part you can order. You would have to buy a new complete caliper. Also, a caliper rebuild kit wouldn't do shit as they just tend to be for wearable items like rubber seals

Unfortunately you're right, I'm going to look through some wrecking yards in hopes to find these caps. If I can't, then maybe fab them. If I can't do that then I gotta buy new calipers

I can't go anywhere without my rear calipers, and I can't finish rebuilding them without this stupid fucking cap. What the fuck I don't understand why Toyota didn't just make the other end of the main pin hole capped on the caliper itself, why a separate piece.
