Hard shifting is likely clutch drag, noise likely TO bearing.

I'd drop tranny and replace the clutch, resurface flywheel and slave cylinder while there. Still drags, replace master and line or just nuke it all.

Three years ago it got according to my grandfather
New clutch(racing)
pressure plate(racing)
TO bearing from AutoZone
Slave, master cylinder and line from AutoZone
Pilot bearing.

So I'm Betting either the clutch has run low or the fluid is burnt and compressing (hence the bleed) or the TO is failing. Sound about right?
