I stupidly agreed to tow a trailer for a friend. He's out of town and is lending me his truck. He said it should be easy for me because I've got a CDL, but I only drive 53' trailers, I've never touched one of these little ones before.
How fucked am I?
Just drive like it's a rig, you definitely won't hit anything you'll just look like an idiot.

Zero. It will be like a competition donut eater having to eat a single cheerio. Your biggest problem will be forgetting the trailer is there.

I'm concerned that you can drive a semi but have to ask /o/ if you will be ok with this. I towed my car behind a full size Uhaul 2000 miles with no experience.
I don't know why you're tripping, it'll be pretty much the easiest thing ever especially for someone like you. The only thing I would think would be an issue is that you would have a lot less angle before you start jackknifing when you're backing up and turning. Other than that it's going to be easier than shooting a barn with bird shot.

But shorter trailers are harder to back up because they're so snappy, also it doesn't have any brakes.

so what? its still fucking easy. i learned to drive with a trailer on a crew cab long bed hauling a 25' enclosed trailer with no brakes. its not that hard, if youve driven a semi it will be a fucking cake walk.

Don't back it up then. I made it 2000 miles without using reverse.
