Okay.
Somebody tell me why my next car shouldn't be a W220 S-Class:

active body control
>>16169615
>Unreliable, expensive to fix, lack of good features...

>>16169615
>even considering buying a 20 year old GERMAN luxurybarge
jesus...
>>16169656
Didn't take much convincing for people to buy 20 year old AMERICAN """""""luxury"""""""" barges
>>16169655
Seconding this
>>16169633
strutmasters makes a kit to convert to standard struts/springs
>>16169655
W210s are nice, but look dated
W211 is where it's at
>>16169656
Right how could somebody like a car enough that they'd actually be willing to invest time and money into?
>>16169759
>converting to standard struts
fuck off gypsy
>>16169765
E55 is at 87k miles and the struts are all still fine.
If you wanted to keep it on air/hydraulic Arnott makes parts that are cheaper/upgrades over OEM

Because this is superior in every tangible way.

You should, just have en extra 10000 set aside for repairs.
I have one and it has been nothing but great to have. But the reson I have it is because of the driving experience and how you feel it's built to overtake old French cars.
