Should I do it /o/?
also what should I look out for on these things other than the head gasket problem?
>>16165848
No.
Unless you're buying either an H6 or a turbo Subaru, you're wasting your money.
>>16166065
why do you say so? This wouldnt make a decent daily driver for the winter?
no, that thing haa probably been beat to hell
never buy a car with a new engine, if the owner neglected it to the point of needing an engine swap, I can't imagine how bad it is
>>16165848
If it's in decent shape, I'd say go for it. My GT needed an engine rebuild to replace those head gaskets so an engine swap isn't unheard of.
I say it's not a bad idea, and if you want it, go for it
>>16166079
why would you ever buy a car that had the engine replaced? that's a huge red flag that it hasn't been taken care of.
>>16166402
how is that a red flag if the cars engine was replaced?
mate.
>>16166432
Because an engine =/= a car. If the engine was neglected/abused then chances are the trans and all other fluids were too. You should always just fix the head gasket if they fail instead of getting some unknown used engine.
