I have the option to buy an aw11 mr2 for 300$ needs window front wheels and steering wheel/shifter boot. The car has been sitting for 4 years and leaked oil when it was running. Its in amazing shape almost no rust and no holes. Should i or should i not? Pic related

Intake tube that isnt important
Spark plug valley cover. Not too important.

Id bank on most everything rubber needing to be replaced.
Expect to spend a lot of time combing through the harness with a multimeter, as well as replacing all bushings
Just understand what you're getting into. its a 30 year old car thats spent the last 4 years sitting. Its going to need quite a bit of work to get running healthily.
Definitely a good restoration experience.project, and if you stick it out it will be worth it.
With that in mind id just save my money and buy one thats already road worthy.

For $300 you might as well buy it. You can always resell it for more.

I intend to keep it
Any idea how hard it would be to put a ecotech lnf in one?
