Hello auto. Question about my 2000 crown vic p71. I drove to get gas yesterday and when I left the station it seems to be running extremely rough. And seems like an exhaust leak or something. Its extremely loud as well. Will try to get a video up with the noise. Its a 2000 with 183k miles . it also seems to be less powerful and response off. Can a exhaust leak cause that and how can I go about checking ?

Not an exhaust leak. Causing the power loss. Might need a rigorous tune-up
>183k miles
intake manifold probably shat the bed and is leaking coolant someplace
Op here ' Would the intake cause it to be extremely loud only when accelerating. I've already replaced the intake manifold 2 times . first time it cracked. Second time was a manufacturer defect. Haven't had a problem since and coolant is fine. ... Just makes no sense drove fine to the gas station after getting gas it sounds like an aftermarket exhaust was installed. No cel yet either . could water in the gas do anything?
Ok again - quick video while on break. Not the greatest. Let me know what you think.. https://youtu.be/OL41aW6o2nU

I don't really hear anything not normal but hard to tell. Your aftermarket intake might make things a little louder, could see that its all secured. Your car is rusty so maybe it did get a hole, or bad gas, or might be time for a tune up. Clean the maf for good measure too.
Have to go back to work gonna look at it in the morning more when I get off see if I can see anything coming out of the exaugst anywhere. Just find it odd that it happens right after I fill up. Thanks for the help. Will post again later today.
