Is skipping gears bad for syncros? Should I use double clutch for that?

I don't think so. Unless you are going to heel and toe. Then it is recommended if allowed that you row thru the gears to use maximum engine braking force.

Also manual transmission how does it fucking work the thread
Yes Yes
>>16123583
unless you're revving the absoloute fuck out of it when you're downshifting then no

Double clutching is fun anyway.
If you are going to skip gears just quick pop the stick into the skipped gear. This divides the work between two synchros instead of one. You don't have to let out the clutch, just go into the gear. SOME cars like the honda s2000 even state this as a requirement in the manual.

If it feels bad, it is bad. If it feels fine, it's fine. Do you properly match revs when skipping gears? Does it shift smoothly?
>>16124617
this is bad unless you're at the proper RPM. Will cook your synchros if done repeatedly.

What does Engine RPM matter if your clutch isn't engaged?

NO and NO

I bet he also thinks that rev matching cooks your clutch
