Help me solve a problem, /o/
I'm currently enrolled at uni in the SF Bay Area, where space is of a premium. I'm borrowing a family car for my reliable transportation (and it takes up my parking spot), but I'm itching for a project car, itching real bad. Car storage places are $150/mo and up (you're not allowed to wrench there either), and DIY garages cost $40 per hour. How can I into shitbox without going broke?

Sorry for your loss :(
Move, that city is gay dude. Move to SoCal

Get a motorcycle, keep it in your apartment

Dude man why do you even need a car in SF man, the city itself is like a 35 square mile area and most of the time I just walked. Just having a car there overnight is pure suffering

>SoCal
Literally LA if not than literally the desert, especially when Norcal is next door full of trees and no heat.
>How can I into shitbox without going broke?
You can't. The only way you can do it is if you sold your reliable car and drove a shitbox everyday. Doesn't sound right does it?

Sorry but SF hates cars. Consider moving beyond the East bay if you want to into cars

Idk I do rly like hot rod shit unfortunately the car isn't mine to sell.
Maybe I could tell the folks I don't need it because of the caltrain and Uber. Then my parking space would be open.
>regular old outdoor storage unit
>don't tell the company you are storing a car in one of their units

This seems like something they would notice. How strict are the ones that DO allow cars about the wrenching rule?
