Who /MOTDread/ here?
It's been over two hours since I dropped it off. What's going on?
They're knocking holes in your rockers, grinding your brake lines and drilling your cat

Did you top up all the fluids beforehand? It would be a shame if it failed for no windscreen wash
>>16113241
Kwik Fit once failed my brother for his rear passenger seat head light being out. I am not shitting you. They then told him it would be another £99 to redo the MOT.

>did estonian MOT yesterday
>out of windscreen wash, rusted brake lines, 60% of braking power, 10% when using handbrake, extinguisher dated by a year, windscreen cracked, rear brakepads worn, some lights not working
>guy gave me a pass after I told him I have a service next week anyway

I'm sure kwik fit only charged me 20 or 30 quid to retest my old car when it failed (ABS sensor thing)

That sounds like pretty exhaustive testing.
They don't check for extinguishers and windscreen wash where I'm from.
They failed me for emissions and a cracked windshield.
I was told the emissions aren't too bad and should drop if I rev the car a bit on the way there but I just know I'll get shit for it again.

Did your car pass the MOT?
I always fucking hate MOTs, I'm yet to pass one first time. It's always something that looks fine as well
>Slight cut on CV boot
>Headlight blew WHILE THEY WERE TESTING IT
>Tyre literally 0.1mm less than legal minimum

MOT retests are legally required to be free if done within 10 working days

>not going to an independent joint
Got mine done recently, and it passed without any problems. Checked online, and it said that it failed because the rear number plate lamp was out
So either they replaced the lamp for free and didn't bother to tell me, or they made a mistake
