I used to work as a mechanic and we had a few young new car salesmen. You'll start off as a shit kicker of course then move to the used section before going to new depending on the size of the dealership.

One thing though is that if you're cool with the service staff they'll get your jobs done quick like vehicle inspections for trade in and roadies etc.

You didn't need much experience at my place the salesmen sold so many VW's it was ridiculous
