Old 6.9 has a good aftermarket. Get ARP head studs and a banks sidewinder kit, then reliably run ~14 lbs of boost and depending on your EGTs crank up the injection pump. The IDI willl never make over 220hp but it's a torque monster and it's rev happy. You'll see around 500ft lbs with that setup
