the turbo is like a c4s, except with a turbo and a racing engine derived with gt-1. It also has a dry sump lubrication system. The turbos/GT2/GT3s have one of the best I6 engines ever made in a 911 and likely wont be made again due to environment regulations.

Cool, what do you think if I buy a C4S? +/- a 1999 one. Do you think they will turn out very expensive in the future just like the 964 did? (As the 964 before was the ugly duck of the 911's). I really love porsches and think it would be a wise investment.

i don't believe so, atleast not for maybe 10-20 years. I think the lack of the super reliable mezger engine is a downside. The GT2 and GT3 have already doubled in price and the next to turn up is the turbo. the C4S and C2 will take much longer.

they are not really good investments. My turbo has gone up from 38k to when i bought it to about 45k now. But i spend like 4-5k on repairs/maintenance and new tires. At best you would hope to breakeven in like 10 years.

'98 was the last year of the 993 Carrera 4S and the 996 Carrera 4S wasn't produced until '02, '03 and '04 model years.
