Has VWAG gone too far this time?
>>16083974
>implying this is news
The one liter has been a option since the Mk7 golf launched.
The Octavia with a 2.0tdi is a great dd desu. Nice torque and really low fuel consumption.
>pic related dads car
>>16083974
Ford does it too.
>>16084041
Hell, Ford put a fucking 1-liter 3-cylinder into the Mondeo. Everything for those precious tax discounts.
Were the Euros right all along?
That 1.0 TSI engine apparently only weights 78kgs.
Is smaller and lighter the future?
>>16084055
Lighter is nice, but power output and reliability are what I'm worried about.
>>16084025
Wew, that's my dad's car too. 2.0 TDI 150hp, really nice car.
wuts a c section car and why is yurop being cucked by it
>>16084063
>reliability
TDI/TSIs may have gotten some bad coverage in the media, but not due to poor quality and short lifetime.
>>16087517
Focus like sized cars
>>16087517
See that car in OP?
It has a 1.0 (one) litre displacement engine
>>16084041
Doesn't that one have a turbo though?
>>16084025
>>16086330
Jeeez, had those@work. Saddest dullest cars ever made would rather drive lada with no compression on one cylinder to china and back than DD one of those.
>>16083974
>eurocucks try so hard to justify their superiority
>literally have 1.0L engines in cars that aren't in A/B segments
jesus christ yuropoors will never recover
>>16088823
They are boring. Non RS versions are not supposed to be fun. These are excellent dailys as they are very easy to drive and somewhat comfy. Really nice audio system considering how little the car cost.
>>16088859
I'm euro and that is nice however that toothed blower belt going over smooth tensioner really bothers me.
Why do ford and gm even bother with selling those low displacement engines in north america when they are objectively inferior to naturally aspirated engines.
GM even claim that a 1.4l turbo that get 140 hp is better than the 2l engines of their competitors.
>>16083974
Only 750cc's more than my push mower...
Jesus Europe.
