10 cars most likely to go 200,000 miles
and you wont enjoy driving any of them.
http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2014/03/10-best-cars-to-last-200-000-miles/index.htm

what is /o/s hang up with reliability?
I'm not going to say it is a fact but it is pretty close that the most fun cars are the least reliable.

also, if your car is silver (or white if an SUV) you should probably leave /o/ forever.

I drive a 99 suburban, 300'000 miles.
no problems
>>
>>16080363
Based Honda Motor Co. makes up 40% of the list.
>>
>>16080363
Most fun are least reliable because they're driven like turds in their overall lifespans.
>>
>>16080369
>99 suburban
sounds like you gave up on life a long time ago
>>16080374
no one has ever gotten laid with the line "hey babe, I drive a Honda Accord, wanna go for a ride?"
>>16080378
probably pretty close to it there
>>
>>16080363
Okay, I'll bite. What's your issue with silver cars?
>>
>>16080408
>buying a car to get laid
>missing the point of the thread
>being an aspie
Lmao bus riders on full force today
>>
If you want reliable you don't want sport
>>
>>16080363
pretty sure every part is designed to last a specific amount of time and the more you stress it the more your reduce it
so i would say a manual N/A 2 L with around 140 HP should last forever if you take good care of it
but if think this list show more what car you can trash without affecting too much the reliability or maybe the people who buy these can take care of a car
>>
>>16080374
too bad they dont make sports cars
>>
>>16080463
Why would you need a car tagged as sports car anyway?
>>
>>16080470
because hearing ricivics with fart cans don't count as 'sports cars'
>>
>>16080483
Whos saying theyre sports car? Seems like you're just salty about civics for no good reason
>>
tfw 320000km on my volvo v70 and i plan on getting it to 400k before 2020
>>
>>16080363

I'm fine with average reliability, great reliability isn't something i'd shoot for, otherwise i'd be limited to lexus and toyota, two brands I don't really want to drive for the rest of my life.

I do try to avoid particularly poor reliability, So Fiat/Chrysler, British cars sans mclaren are out the door.

BMWs questionable.
>>
>I'm not going to say it is a fact but it is pretty close that the most fun cars are the least reliable.

Nah, maybe for american cars assembled by some fatass in Kentucky.

Mercedes and Lexus are fun and reliable.
>>
>>16080363
>the most fun cars are the least reliable.
no fucking shit
>>
>>16080534
Yeah look at rx7
>>
>>16080463

>>

>>
>>16080408

Sorry man you are already hopeless
>>
>>16080457
This. The more power you have the more stress there is.
>>
>>16080516
>Mercedes
>fun
>reliable

>>
>>16080579

Jokes on you OHPEE, my car has 192,000 miles and is still going stronk.

Going to hit 199k and then ceremoniously kill it though since it wasn't on your gay ass little pansy list. Faggot.

Scion xB btw
>>
My car's silver. You got a problem with that?

I specifically bought it to look like a sleeper.

First car was my moms 93 camry with 360k miles then bought a 01 civic with 270k miles.
Current is a 12 civic with 68k miles. These things are indestructible
>>
>>16080363
9/10 of the list is Jap.

Why are white people so shit at engineering?
>>
>>16082101
We're not. The cars don't do anything they're not designed to do.

Including breaking down. And when.
>>
>>16080363
>no W124 in the list

dropped

2000 silverado. 208k miles and no major issues.

Too bad you're 20 years old and drive a rundown piece of shit that at least is a "drivers car", and your idea of performance driving is hooning while delivering pizza pretending you're snow crash

>m-m-muh planned obsolescence, totally planned

GM has been turning out some very long term reliable sporting rigs.

Cobalt SS, particularly in turbo form, CTS, and Cam-a-rows are all capable of being redlined a dozen times a day for 200k and giving no shits. I had a cobalt ss turbo with GMS1 that I NLS'd daily for 5 years and 160k with only oil changes every 12k miles and all it did was smile, not burn a drop, and never required anything save for brakes and a wheel bearing.

I'm on 358000 on mine

>>
>>16082218
Don't talk shit about K-jet

it just works

my dad's 190e drove 26 years without any problems

mine problem free for 9 years

as long as you dont put methanol contaminated fuel it it, it works forever
>>
>>16082240
none, what kinda retarded question is that?
>>
Your list is garbage it's rare to find a Corolla around here with less than 200k on it.
