tfw I've never even thought about saving since it was discussed in home ec class in 8th grade because I've never had enough money to put any away.
I have a savings account and keep the bare minimum in there to keep it open, with all the intention of putting more in, but every time I deposit even $50 I end up taking it back out before the next paycheck because I need it for food, gas, or a repair.

Its will be around $60,000 like the last RX-7 was (when taking inflation into account)

The only reason the RX-8 was so cheap compared to the RX-7 FDs is because it feature less parts, less power and less performance. The chassis/handling was god-tier though.

I've got $5k put aside as a down payment for a modest classic car. I'm thinking $15k max. Long term though; i want some land, a nice little house with the gf, and a building full of old classic american muscle cars along with some movie cars (supernatural impala, jurassic park jeep and Explorer, etc)
