anyone else turn their steering wheel while starting off?
i started doing it on habit, and it has made my start ups much more smoother. (manual transmission)
not sure if its a muscle memory thing or the car itself
pic related its my car

The way your tires are turned has literally nothing to do with how you handle and use your clutch/gas
I think you're experiencing a confirmation bias
yeah those wheels should look fine

When you turn your wheel while idling most engines slightly increase the idle rpm because of the load applied by the powersteering pump. That might have something to do with it.
