Got car back from mechanic
>1 wire set
6 spark plugs
1 overflow cap
idler pulley
tensioner pulley
1 serpentine belt even tho the old one was fine
coolant
565Z$
Car drives fine for a day then day after getting car back it decides to drive like its on cruise control. Can maintain 55MPH without hitting the pedal
>Start car up again and it jumps to 3000 RPMS idle
How do I get my mechanic to fix my idle for free seeing how it barely went a day being fine.
also if anyone has ideas whats wrong feel free.
car goes to like 35 by itself. maintains 55 with no foot on the pedal.

Absolutely none of that would effect your idle. Unless you drive a Camry or Chrysler-product where the plenum has to come off for a tune-up. In which case kys.

3.0l V6? Did you replace your starter with the last oil change?
Check your throttle to make sure it isn't sticking.
Make sure cc is actually off.
Check for CEL.
I'm gonna pass out /o/ wasn't expecting you guys to fix my problems but was hoping you could make me laugh

>How do I get my mechanic to fix my idle for free seeing how it barely went a day being fine.
Easy, if it's a chain workshop tell them to fix the problem they caused or you will make a serious complaint to corporate.
If its a private mechanic, tell them you will tell others to stay away from his services or even take legal action. All it takes is some balls, and going to the right mechanic in the first place.

It's a private mechanic. My mother is scared I'll piss him off and she'll no longer have him as a mechanic.
I'm not a beta bitch I'm, just socially retarded anime loser who lifts heavy things.

Idk how to do any of that sadly. I checked to see if there were any engine codes but their were none with my reader.
I already ditched my car at the mechanics parking lot.
I do plan on buying some tools soon and taking care of my own car soon. /o/ has inspired me enough
