The stock ride height is just right for having people go under it, and the big under inflated tires disperse the weight. Not to mention the smaller models are just 3800lb.

Honestly, when you're dealing with people, the bigger the better.

A jeep's purpose is to traverse the terrain. Our goal is to "plow" the obstacle(s) out of the way.
The object with more mass and speed is going to win, and if for some reason we get stopped, mass is going to help push against the weighty crowd.

I'd say a diesel 3500HD with a minor lift, and weighed down bed would be the ultimate anti-crowd plow. Enough height to get over minor obstacles, tons of power and weight to easily part the thickest of crowds.

Or just get a MRAP.

A deuce and a half. You can find them for as little as $2000 and parts are pretty cheap and easy to work on provided you have plenty of air tools already. You can find very nice ones and even ones fitted with plows already for pushing people.

Owning trucks and military vehicles is rather unlikely for most people, so how about a realistic option:

The Series Land rover

-Low gearing even in 2 wheel drive, so you can maintain a steady speed trough uneven terrain.
-High ground clearance to avoid bottoming out.
-Recessed radiator, to avoid damage from flailing tree branches and other vegetation. S2 has recessed lights as well.
-Recessed, difficult to hold on to door handles for less chance of debris grabbing hold to them
-Oil leaks make it more difficult for debris to get stuck to your underside.
-Flat front and end high position won't catapult obstacles trough your windshield like sloped or rounded designs.
-Short distance between front bumper and wheel decreasing probability of something you hit bouncing back up to the wheel well.
-Heavy leaf springs and no body roll reduce chance of obstacles shaking the car and rolling it over
-Oiled air filter positioned on the rear of the engine minimizes the likelihood of stalling by sucking in dust, or smoke from fires.
