Never see anyone here discuss Suzuki Swifts.
what do you think of em? Would you own one?
>owning a 4 wheeled suzuki.
no thanks.
I had a Baleno (I think it's called Esteem in some other places).
Had a 1.6l engine producing 105hp but that thing was lightweight and went like stink.
I fucking loved it but the transmission was made of glass and one day mine had a failing transmission (at 180k km) like tons of other Balenos. The 1.8l engine fucks up the transmission even faster.
Swift looks cool but no idea about the quality of that car.
I've got a 2008 swift auto
It never knows when to change gears
Some days I floor it and it'll hit redline and it truly is swift
Some days I floor it and nothing will happen
Same fuel
What a weird car
My friend had a sport, fun little car. But today they are just completely outdated.

Is Suzuki with 4 wheels reliable?
They are japanese, but the price tag as new plus depreciation makes me wonder..
pic not related
I've driven a swift GTS extensively. The engine is a torqueless wonder but it really loves to rev. The gearbox is really crisp and feels great, but also made of glass.
It wasn't my car so seeing how fast I could take a corner was fun.
Not a bad car.
Do they still sell Suzukis in America? They pulled all their cars off the market up here in Canada.

My Esteem (Baleno) has been pretty much "civic reliable". Zuki's haven't been sold here in Canada since ~2012 yet there's still a lot of them left on the roads. So they can't be all that bad.
>owned 2005 swift manual to 340 000km before selling because it got tired.
>currently own alto as my city car, thrash it around with nil issues, cheap to run and service
>really want pic related as offroader
