I owned a 2014 5.0 Mustang GT and honestly I wouldn't recommend a v6. The GT is fun but as already mentioned you'll lose your license unless you have wide open rural roads.

You'll wish you bought a GT whenever you see a GT. You'll wish you bought a GT whenever you want to modify. Whenever you want to go fast. Whenever someone asks about your Mustang.

The v6 in the mustang is VERY good, but the mustang's beauty as a platform is in its hilariously overpowered v8. I'd honestly recommend you looking at a 370z instead, they're far more fun and have more respect than a v6 mustang.

Because the V6 just isn't the Mustang's thing. White girls can get cornrows but is it the part? V6 motors have come a LONG way in the last 5 years. Get a 370Z or an infinity G37. They are beautifully fast and have a V6. But a having a V6 Mustang is a "but I could have" life for someone who enjoys their car. I have drove every engine type Mustang made in the past 20 years. The V6 is a fine engine but just not for the Mustang you know?

Look dude. Just get whatever you like. If you get a 6 though, be prepared to endure people constantly ribbing you for not getting the v8. I drive a an ss camaro and i work for GM. I've driven v6 stangs and camaros for years and while they are definitely not slow, they are nowhere near the feeling of a v8. It's the torque. The acceleration feels totally different. A 6 is fine though. If people give you shit just tell them the 6 is exactly what you wanted, and that if it wasn't for people like you buying 6's in droves just because the car looks cool there would be no v8's for us enthusiasts.
