Idk who its for but i would drive the crap out if it. Its such a novelty and its rediculous in its own right but i love it.
Years from now when they hit craigslist for 4-5g's i will own one for better or for worse.

I see mostly women in their late 20s early 30s driving this shoe box atrocity the most.
>>16017997
will e bikes be a thing by then?
>>16018002
I only seen 1 of these driven on the highway and it was by a black man with another black man. I think they were bankers or something.

>Who is this market towards?
Young people who want a small car that doesn't have the stench of poverty and pizza delivery.
>>16017985
dumbasses.
shit mpg for it's size.
requires premium
deadly in crashes because g forces
a civic for 3k is a better car.
I've driven one. If anybody has questions I will try and answer them.
>>16018003
Oh yeah.
>>16018027
was it the electric one?
>>16018022
A civic is not even close to being the same category of vehicle.
>>16018035
It was a gasoline one.
2009 model so with the 1.0l engine

gross
you get a fake car you actually have to maintain.
at least the electric doesn't even pretend to be a car.
Upper-class women who want a second car to compliment their SUV or executive sedan. They say it's to 'save gas' but they just have a secret desire for one and have extra ca$h.
>My mom got a Brabus ForTwo to go to work in when she had a 4.2L V8 Audi S4. I presume she didn't like people knowing she was rich as fuck.
>>16017985
Used to own one
Had lots of fun it, they feel much more unstable than they really are, you can thow it on turns hard and the little car will take it like a champ
The 3cyl turbo is peppy and really the only shitty part of the 2nd gen smart is the slow as fuck tranny
If it had a manual or a DCT (like the third gen has now) it would be much more fun and faster, as its a 91hp car that weights 700kg, the brabus version has 102 HP and you can ECU a smart to get 120HP and remove the 160km/h limiter
Now if you really want to go nuts, swap the engine with the Hayabusa engine and have fun
They're actually great cars for city and daily driving.
They're kinda cozy from what I hear and they're ez as fuck to park
>>16017985
>Who is this market towards?
Ideally towards someone who lives downtown, where parking space is at a premium, but they still need a car for hauling groceries or going places without getting rained on.
Usually though, its customers are morons in the suburbs trying to be eco-friendly without realizing there are much better cars for the task.
>>16017997
in the UK you can get a decent condition smart fortwo for under 2k
this on the other hand... i can't explain

If I remember right, it was something to do with the average emissions across all models made by a manufacturer. By making a fartarse little car, Aston would offset the others but it didn't sell - I used to work in Knightsbridge and I think I've only ever seen two of them.
