Designed in Japan, bult in Germany. All German cars reliability problems come from design, they're usually assembled pretty good. I guess they're just better at making things rather than inventing them, ironically the critizism they aimed at the jews.

Designed in Japan, built in Germany. Japanese engineers think about how shit works as a combined whole of parts, including overall complexity. German engineers think that everything is perfect and that having 20 parts that are all "ideal" somehow is better than having 4 parts that achieve 99% efficiency of the 20.
