the vanning scene never really went away. just some of these vans got rolled, bowled and arseholed or split up as parts. vanners were more just like those kids who play by themselves, then eventually someone says can i join in too? they arent like honda kids who go to the latest thing get bored then move on vanners do get bored but they update the look or style of their vans. the only real problem with this is the skills arent being passed down to the newer kids who want to go vanning and the old farts are dying off. there are still the forums on the internet for vans etc and there are still van shows (van-ins) just be aware if you want to be a vanner you arent alone. people still do cruise in their vans they customised them with whatever they could with minimal money: min outlay= max results eg wood carvings and bed frames etc instead of air bags and body kits if they wanted a body kit like flared guards they just made them.

the drawings came out OK but I'd never painted on velvet before and thrying to leave the background "blank" for the black of the hair and eyes instead of just painting it black was a mistake. whatever, I fucked it up but I kind of like it since I was trying to cram as many cliches into it as possible, the amatuer look sort of works anyway. also, the paint is blacklight paint.
