>want DD (20miles a day) but mostly fast car
>don't care about practicality or mpg or any of that shit
>can wrench
>no miata because 6'4
What do!?

I have a Miata and I'm 6'4, suck it up and get one
If only you lived in the US, foxbody is right up your alley

Get an old Jag of some variety.

What model Miata, don't get me wrong I like the idea but I need room to drive the thing. I'll happily chuck the interior out and have a paper thin fibreglass/aluminum jet fighter seat if needed. I don't rate practicality/comfort but I do still need function.

I said I can wrench, not Lucas electrical wiring level miracles. Jags are trash.

Foxbody is 6k most places now.
Would have a better chance with a feiro or trans am for cheap.

$6k?
Jesus I haven't priced one in years.
>2006- pic-a-part has 150+ fox body's
>pull a saleen spoiler off of one, couple trim pieces off of another- maybe I'll come back later with my truck and get that really clean rust free hatch
>2013- same pic-a-part , 5 fox body's
>pull anything that's intact. Mismatched tail lights with small cracks, switches- that fender is banged up but I could hammer it straight, at least its not an aftermarket pos.
Strange to see a shift like that. They were such a staple for so many years, I didn't expect them to fade away.
I understand the buffalo hunter's mentality now.

Yeah who would have thought old cars get harder to find as time goes on.

That's on the west coast. Here in the east you can still get one that needs work but runs and drives for $2k.

It was the quick drop off that was a surprise.
