Hello /o/, I'm not a frequent visiter but I have a question, anyone here know alot about old timers? My family owns a 1929 Plymouth and we wanted to know if it's worth anything to sell or is it just a relic, any info appreciated.

what condition is it in? if its a rusted scrap, then its worth pretty much nothing. if it can be built back up with a reasonable amount of work then yes, it could be worth something.

This.
But, a rusted hunk can still be sold to a ratrodder for a grand or two.

It's in a pretty good condition, nothing has been touched, not sure about the mileage but no it's not a rusted scrap its been properly stored, it's model U btw.
Pic related, the car.

The market on prewars kinda collapsed for all but the rarest shit.
But it's still probably worth 10 grand if it's in working order.
But hang on to heirlooms, prewars are super for Sunday drives or trips to the drive in diner.
Just stay off fast roads, because other cars will obliterate you in a wreck.

holy fuck, that's an 88 year old car and it's in THAT condition
I'm sure that could fetch a sizable sum, actually. however I'm not very much knowledgeable about really old cars so I'm not sure. but damn that is in great condition. are you sure you don't just want to drive it yourself??

My father stored it pretty well, I'm not sure how he got it in the first place, I have no interest in old cars, I'm just seeking profit here desu, not in a rush for money but just wanted to see if it would pay off to sell it.
I'd personally keep it and maintain it because it's a badass car that will only get older and more rare, especially in anything resembling good condition.
Without knowing specifics it's probably worth anywhere from 10k to 30k to the right person, but there's only so many people looking to drop that kind of money on a relic so you might have it on the market for a while.

this. it will be worth kind of a lot, but probably less than 50k anyway. not a sum that will revolutionize your life, OP. a pretty damn good sum of cash but, not something that will set you up for life.
If I were you I'd keep it. imagine having a 100 year old car when you're older and have time to enjoy it.
Keep it. Or restore it.
If it was restored mint. And had a few show wins and concourse under its hood it would be worth even more
Hate to be the damper here.
First off I don't know if that's a Plymouth. Certainly not a 1929, looks 1935-37 if it is. There are many things wrong with the body. Like the rear doors are not suicide doors, the wheels are steelies and not original. And the brake lights are certainly not original, they look like they're off a VW or something. I would double check and find out what it is.
Second the value. Nobody cares about sedans, they are worthless. Plymouths also had nothing cool about them, they had 4 or 6 cylinder flatheads when chevy and ford had OHV or V8 engines. No outstanding features and shared a lot with dodge. They can't get up to 60mph on a regular basis, there's no nostalgic value as that generation is dead. It's a $10-15k in mint condition but the market for them is so small it's whatever someone is willing to pay.

Are those tail lights off a beetle? Also I love survivor cars, neat ride.
