Tell me how great it is to lose control in your shitty miata, senpai.
50/50 is great dude. Maybe not the fastest setup on the track (40/60 is probably around ideal, you're right) but I just like 50/50 because its predictable, easy to control, and easy to drift. And because I'm not chasing tenths of a second on the street, I dont really mind that it's not technically ideal for muh laptimes. It's more fun.
We can all agree that front heavy cars are bad though, right?
>>15946938
Yes. Although something akin 55f 45r would be better for daily use.
I just like to see fags talk about how 50/50 is perfect for track use, city use, drift use, heavy load use, stability, etc.
Seems nobody remembers the AE86, the NSX, the best Group C cars, including the F1 has 40f60r weight distro.

How does it feel being a bench racer?
old muscle cars handled great and had a majority of the weight on the front

>Lotus Elise is the best car
Maybe

AE86 is 53/47 or something
>>15946997
how would an ae86 be 40f60r when the engine is in the front? what they got at the back?!
>>15948112
Ill need your definition of handling, please, because I think you're using it wrong.

I'm not sure about a Miata, but a 50/50 Viper is faster than any other street legal car.

>>15948546
It would be faster as 60 percent in the rear.
History has only showed us how 40 f 60 r is perfect for track and time attack usage.
Look at how old muscle cars front-heavy would have to oversteer almost every fucking corner in the old Trans Am.
More weight on the rear = more grip
More grip on the rear = you can apply more power when you exit a corner.

>a 50/50 viper is faster than any other street legal car
surely you jest
Would you want 40/60 for a FF car? Wouldn't it be better to have the bias on front?

This thread only applies to GOOD cars.
