This. It's important to never touch the brakes and never completely release the throttle, otherwise the car will snap where the wheels are pointing.
Countersteer, and when you feel that the rear end is about to grip again, give it a little bit of throttle to make it grip smoothly.
Kinda like landing a plane, you don't want to slam on the runway.

Stab the brakes and gas simultaneously. At the same time throw the wheel toward the direction the front of the car is drifting. Do a classic Dukes of Hazard uturn/burnout combo and drive off in the opposite direction like it was all planned.

with my experience in an e30 325ix and many manual Subarus(50/50 AWD), entering a corner too fast under throttle leads to initial understeer that quickly turns to oversteer, to recover countersteer very lightly and cautiously while applying more throttle, it will behave more like a FWD as the rears are slipping and power is sent to front

But yeah pretty much fucking pray unless driving a FWD biased "AWD" cuckmobile
