How should you react in a rear wheel drive car to rear end suddenly losing grip?
Let off the gas and let go of the wheel
>>15945629
Jesus take the wheel
>>15945624
stab the gas and cut the wheel toward the nearest wall/ditch
>>15945624
Shift into 5th and alternate pumping the clutch and the gas
>>15945624
Counter steer you pleb
>>15945624
Which wheels lose traction?
pump the throttle, slight counter steer, and rip a hektik skid
fucking pleb
>>15945624
embrace the end
Just keep the wheels moving, counter steer and get the nose facing the right direction
Do a skid cunt
what kind of diff
DEJA VU
No one has said to not touch the brakes yet, braking in a slide could make it worse. Don't touch the pedals at all, counter steer, and if you're at full lock and still sliding, pray.
>>15945624
Stand on the breaks. Does no one here know how to drive? Jeez.
>>15945624
Smoothly apply more power and counter-steer in a calm manner until out of the slide.
>>15945845
This. It's important to never touch the brakes and never completely release the throttle, otherwise the car will snap where the wheels are pointing.
Countersteer, and when you feel that the rear end is about to grip again, give it a little bit of throttle to make it grip smoothly.
Kinda like landing a plane, you don't want to slam on the runway.
>>15945624
I would probably slam on the brakes and grip the steering really tight like I do any time I lose control of my car
>>15945802
FUCKING THIS ULEH
>>15945624
Floor it and accept your fate. Spend your last remaining seconds wondering of you ran ccleaner before you left the house
>>15945624
Countersteer and pray that engineers at Daimler knew what they were doing.
>>15945808
Open
>>15945624
Deja vu
Drive into the nearest crowd (I drive a mustang)
Exactly this
>>15945624
Turn the wheel full lock and floor the accelerator sending the car into the sidewalk knocking over as many people as possible.
a quick memo
FWD
>SLAM THE FUCKING BRAKES
this is why fwd is the safest for retards btw, because the natural reaction is a correct one in this case
RWD
>countersteer and use gas a little, break pedal is a no-no
AWD
>fucking pray

The banner answered your question
https://youtu.be/eczNu4AZ0qU
>>15945624
pull the e-brake until the car does a 360 and continue on my way
>>15945633
Counter steer and give it less gas than youre currently giving it
>>15945844
That's bait son.
>>15945624
Stab the brakes and gas simultaneously. At the same time throw the wheel toward the direction the front of the car is drifting. Do a classic Dukes of Hazard uturn/burnout combo and drive off in the opposite direction like it was all planned.
>>15945842
If you're at full lock and still sliding and off the gas, could you get on the throttle a little to make the front end light?
I watched The Racing Line on motortrend. I should know what I'm talking about. :^)
>>15945624
Countersteer, press clutch, straighten the wheel back early before the back snaps into the other direction (don't know the english term for this) .
>>15945624
Depends. Why are you losing grip? Are you in the middle of a turn? Accelerating? Decelerating?
>>15952214
Doesn't matter, son. It's always this >>15952199
>>15952199
>press clutch
U WOT M8?
>>15952261
What, you're not an automatic babby, are you?
>>15952277
You press the clutch when you're trying to regain control of your car?
Are you a fucking idiot?
>>15945831
THIS
>>15952288
Back wheels regain traction if they can turn freely.
Pic is me, I get hectic for fun, blah.
>>15945831
I HAVE BEEN TO THIS PLACE BEFORE
>>15951467
Slamming the brakes would unweigh the rear and probably spin you if you're already sideways dumbass
>AWD
>pray
with my experience in an e30 325ix and many manual Subarus(50/50 AWD), entering a corner too fast under throttle leads to initial understeer that quickly turns to oversteer, to recover countersteer very lightly and cautiously while applying more throttle, it will behave more like a FWD as the rears are slipping and power is sent to front
But yeah pretty much fucking pray unless driving a FWD biased "AWD" cuckmobile
>>15945624
HIT THE BREAK
PULL THE E BREAK
TURN OFF THE ENGINE
OPEN ALL THE WINDOWS
>>15947436
Ease off gas, and continue onward.
>>15945624
crank up the eurobeat
>>15952956
What if it's a negative load induced oversteer?
>>15952199
>clutch kicking mid drift
maximum hektik
>>15953484
straighten the steering
>>15945844
>stand
>inside your car
manlet detected
>>15953490
You should keep it pressed though.
>>15953950
>brakeS
How many does he have?
>>15952363
HIGHER ON THE STREETS
Do a sickcunt ya burnout
>>15945624
counter steer and Ease off the throttle only slightly.
Do not lift off the throttle completely, or you will die.
>>15945629
You think that's funny?
>>15945844
>having breaks in your car
>not only this, but standing and putting your whole weight on them
>wanting to put even more stress on broken parts of your car
captcha: stop holmes
>>15954044
AND I KNOW ITS MY TIME TO GOOOOOO
TIME FOR DOUGHIESSSSSS
>>15953950

>>15952922
You clearly learned nothing in your time driving Subaru's son.
If that shit starts to slide you better stamp on the accelerator.
>>15945624
Slowly open your sunroof while flashing the headlights, maintain constant pressure on the horn at all times.
If you don't have a sunroof you're pretty much fucked.
