How are your projects coming bros?

>78 Bronco

Just bought my fucking expensive as interior parts.

Carpet, weatherstripping for the entire truck, and corbeau Baja reclining seats.

It's on my been a few months since I bought it, but I'm about halfway there. Most of the mechanical stuff is done. Got my interior coming. Mostly just odds and ends after that. I'm not going to paint it.

Still sitting :-\
Waiting the trans swap but I've been busy training for mug new jerb. Before the snow falls she'll be on the road...

Just in time to sit for the winter :'-(
>>
Does it count as a project car if all I'm doing is struggling to keep my car running despite its best efforts?
>>
>>15937357
What is that? Looks like a weird modified early fox body 4 door mustang.

>>15937370
Technically yes...but that's not a good thing...my condolences
>>
Just got a '90 miata that needs a lot of love, going to turn it into a fun little street car, not planning anything extreme
First thing i need to do is get a new catback system, running on stock exhaust atm and it has a hole in it and sounds like shit
Then i'm gonna try my best to find a decent hard top that won't cost an arm and a leg
After that, gonna have to repaint it and get one of those shifter rebuild kits
Gonna get some OEM daisy wheels if I ever see a decent sent
That's really it, not gonna do any kind of major mods to it
>>
>>15937336
haven't done shit to my E30 in months, i finally got it running again, but the suspension is fucked and it feels like shit to drive it.

going to have to order a refresh kit, but its expensive as shit.

What's wrong with the trans of the LX?

I've got way too many projects already, but I need to swap in my good '04 4.6 into this turd.

As of today, pretty well. Replaced the clutch about a month ago and had to get a new clutch fork, but the new fork was hitting the bellhousing before disengaging the clutch. Had to pull and reinstall the transmission four fucking times before I finally fixed it. Just in time to get a few more precious weeks of driving before the snow hits.
>>
Parts should get here on Wednesday.
>found another problem the day after I placed the order
Good thing there's not much of a price difference for the wheel cylinder between rockauto and vatozone/oreilly.
>>
>>15938437
I one got a jeep that had the wrong throw out pin. Clutch had an inch of travel right at the top and was disengaged from there to the floor.

Good job btw, bet on your fourth time you were like welp

Yeah, the clutch would start to disengage about an inch off the floor and then bottom out. Turns out the new clutch fork was slightly different in design from the old one, so I had to put some spacers on the pivot ball. I guess that's why they say to always get OEM parts lol.

Fourth time sucked ass. The first three times I was able to use my neighbours hoist, but he's on vacation now, so I just said fuck it and did it in the driveway. Luckily the transmission only weighs like 50lbs, so it was a lot easier than it could have been, Still 3/10 would rather not do again.

All three of my 77-78 ford trucks are pretty much done (except for paint) and are my daily drivers.
I've still yet to swap a 460 into my 1967 F250 camper special, I've got everything to do it, I just haven't.

In other news, I'm trying to convince myself not to buy a VERY nice 1935 Chevy sedan that's in beautiful original condition.
>>
>>15937336
>I'm not going to paint it.
That's fair enough while it's a functional, practical 4x4. But I hope at one stage you decide to properly turn it back to its factory colour.

It is an RV rooftop Air conditioner. It used to be an ambulance, so the AC is one of the leftovers from those days. Still works, but it runs off of household 110v ac power. Since I don't have my inverter installed yet I have to run an extension cord from my house to it, hillbilly style.

stand still mate.
can't get the cylinder head i need so i'll have to import one from Italy.
wiring loom is FUBAR and needs replaced. which means stripping the whole fucking thing back to bare frame again and trying to feed wires through the spine.
received wrong floorboard runner strips from PooinLoo, not re-ordering so i'm going to use grip tape instead.
Still waiting for parts coming back from chromers, fuckers have had them since mid July.
Doesn't look like i'll be back out on it til next year now.

Supra finally had the new motor in after having it sit on the shed floor for a year, was a cunt to Crane in as we barely had enough clearance but its in with the tranny and all bolted in place. Found out that the ecu is the immobiliser type so I most likely have to send the ecu to a guy in Moscow to be de-immobilised ffs.

While thats sitting around doing sweet fuck all I can start working on the mini again which should come together into a running car pretty soon if I focus on it.

I got the head and block back from the machine Shop l looking sweet, just need piston rings, cam and followers and I can put it together and back into the car.

Pretty busy atm.
>>
>>15945698
No clue what either is. Should I? Do I want to know?

Bought a very nice 1992 K1500 extended cab short bed a few months ago. 175k miles with 7000 on a new 350 crate motor. Plan to lift it 3" soon, get bigger wheels and tires, paint it, and get a new grille. A blinker also went out recently so I have to replace that. Might also add some Hella lights or some such thing, maybe replace the bench seat in the front but it's comfy af for girlz

Quite a large list of what I'm going to have to replace soon

>Inner/outer tie rods
>Caster/camber plates
>Alignment and double check all fittings, rubber gaskets, bushings etc..
>OIL change. I haven't done it in months and have gone over 3-5k so far since my last oil change. I run full synthetic soo i should be covered for another 1k
>Might be getting winter tires for the snow season in colorado, but not sure yet
>Passenger quarter panel has slight rusting/bondo crack from the snow season
earlier this year
>Passenger side rim 18x9 has an issue I will have to fix eventually. Probably shouldn't be driving the car but shes my piece of shit dd

Eh, it's ok. Third brake light still needs replaced. Was gonna swap out the bulbs for led but the led are dimmer in the taillights. Still need back suspension done.

>55 jeep
Coming along, about to put the head back on it next week probably, depends on the time I get.

>87 Honda fourtrax foreman 350
Actually gave this away to a friend so I could store the Jeep there for a year. Picked up jeep about a year ago to bring to my house and have him the quad. He just gave it back so I guess I have my 350 back. Needs a fuel pump, front drives haft and brakes. Probably a new battery too but I'm trying to change the old one first. Still need to pick up my 86 parts bike from my parents shed.

well I just finished installing the last of my big pile of parts nobody is going to see (full exhaust, intercooler, thermostat, intakes, charge pipes, catch can) and I think now it's time to go to a real lift. so 6" is coming soon and probably the same wheels in a wider size.

one of my coworkers is on the fence about selling his really clean t-top Foxbody 5.0L and I'm gonna try to grab it up if he does decide to. I'm running out of stuff to do to the truck and don't really want to mess with my 2015 Mustang.

Well, battery needs to be replaced but it started with the kicker on the FIRST KICK after sitting for about a year and a half. Still need fuel pump, but purrs with a carb bowl full of gasoline. Idles well, and first, second, neut, and Rev work at least. Doesn't hold enough fuel to take it down the road and back, but I may rig up something for some after hours fun...

So excited to have my quad back.
