Hypothetical situation
You're driving down the highway and on the side if the road you see a z32 sitting on the shoulder, with a note on the windshield. On the note it says, "I'm tired of working on this thing. Damn engine blew again! Whoever wants it, can have it!" Obviously you're not one to pass up a free car, so you call up a tow company and have it taken to your house. Once there, you set to diagnosing the engine issues. Upon further inspection you find that it's completely tits up fucked. Non repairable. So, you decide to do a swap! What do you put in? A JZ? An RB? Maybe an LS? It's up to you.

Very cool choice
VH45DE might be cool.
Or an Audi inline 5 turbo, boosted to borderline stupid levels because I'm fucking insane.
>>15924929
You put a rebuilt vg30dett back in it.
>>15924929
Probably an RB25DET, just for ease of swapping. Then I'd sell it and buy a real car

Unironically this

>Engines made by the same company are automatically easier to swap
Why is this even a thought in your mind, friend

Jaguar V8
>>15925337
Why not go full madman and drop in a V12?
>>15925264
What makes you think putting an engine from a different car would make it 'easy'?
LS1 because I have a blown out one I can't part with
>>15924929
Lsa, so I can get it done on the weekend
>>15925264
a Buick supercharged 3800 would be easier to swap
>>15925346
Because Jaguar never made a 48 valve V12 :(
VQ35DE
Because I have one.

A) no it wouldn't. What exactly are you basing this on?
B) RB into a Z32 is literally the case of bolting in an R32 crossmember.
A low mileage motor of the same specifications except for parts that are rated to be more durable than stock.
Like forged rods and shit.
>>15927723
Don't mind the wiring though. It's just the crossmember. Swaps are so simple. Everyone on this board is retarded.

The VG30DE is already an incredibly strong engine.
