Suggest me a decent 4x4 for light trails and general exploring. Lots of slow and steady driving.
Budget of 5k, gonna keep it stock height.
Smog exempt prefered but not necessary.
No trucks, already own a Tacoma Ext.Cab PreRunner
Suzuki Samrai
SUGGEST TO ME A PICTURE THAT ISNT FOR ANTS

Any 80-93 Dodge with a np435 4speed
Granny gear in low range is like having a transfer case doubler
Also solid axle > IFS

At least it wasn't an 8×10

CR-V
No joge. Lightweight, fuel efficient, good for lightduty. Hardy Honda engineering and one person can flip it back over by themselves.

No trucks.
At one point i had 3 trucks and i cant do it anymore. SUV only
Easy, 3rd gen 4runner
Mine is rock stock, e-locker equipped. More than adequate for what you have in mind. Why not use the Tacoma?

80-93 ramcharger
>>15881991
Its not a 4x4 and its my DD.
Its got an e-locker but i dont want to beat on it and its on street tires.
Totally forgot about the 4Runner, same shit as the Tacoma
>>15882076
Yeah mine is a DD+ road trip vehicle+ camping/canoe hauling rig. Solid 20mpg in highway or mixed driving, it's treated me really well. I was lucky to buy mine with only 99k on it but honestly I wouldn't be scared of even a 200k mile truck if it's been taken care of.

All 4x4 below:
Ranger, Isuzu trooper, Pathfinder, Samari, Xterra, Old Land/Range Rover, 4 runner (probably too expensive), bronco
>>15882200
My Tacoma has 209k miles on it so far so i know theyre reliable.
Gotta find a 4Runner in stick.
Dont know if i should get the i4 or v6
>>15882312
Either or, I honestly think the V6 is the way to go.

Get a rav4 from the 90s or until 04
Will be way less expensive then a 4runner.
